Missionary Lunch - Oct. 6
Join us for lunch after the Renewal Gathering on Sunday Oct. 6 where Tyler and Rene, serving in Central Asia, will share about their work + life. Please RSVP so we know how much food to provide. Location: Dan & Lauren Wang's House (107 E Tomaras, Savoy)
Baptism Class - Oct. 13
Our next baptism service is in November. If you or your child are interested in learning about baptism there is a baptism class on Oct. 13 after the Renewal Gathering. The class is required for anyone who desires to be baptized. Register here.
Members Meal & Meeting - Sep 25
Our next Members Meal & Meeting is Wed. 9/25 from 5:30-7:30 pm at First Christian Church (Oasis Venue) in West Champaign. Please RSVP here.
All members and prospective members are invited to attend. If you are not yet a member, but would like to become one you can sign up for our 3-week membership classes here. Childcare for ages 5 & under will be provided.
*Please RSVP for all family members by Friday Sep. 20 so we know how much food to plan for.
Men's Retreat
The annual Men's Retreat is Sep 27 - 28. If you plan to attend please sign up ASAP to help our planning team! Registration and more info can be found here.
5th Sunday - September 29
Sunday, September 29 is a "5th Sunday" for CC Kids. On 5th Sundays we close the preschool, K-1, 2nd-3rd grade, and 4th grade CC Kids classes. Instead, these children will attend the worship service with the rest of the church. We will have “sermon note sheets” and crayons available in the gym. Please feel free to bring any other items you may want to have during the service. Our Nursery and Toddler (Yellow, Blue, and Red) rooms will still be open and staffed as normal.
We believe there is great value in the age-appropriate, gospel-centered Bible lessons taught by the fantastic teachers who serve in CC Kids, and we also believe there is great value in children worshipping with their parents and observing their parents worship along with the whole church. These 5th Sundays provide a great regular rhythm to do just that.
